Podemos resumir en que es un muy buen hotel, cómo todos con áreas de oportunidad. Pero la atención es muy buena, todo el personal se esmera para hacerte pasar un buen momento.Solo tal vez tener un menú un poco más amplio y estaría excelente. Mi familia y yo la pasamos increíble!!!

El servicio en el restaurante el pescador es pésimo. Los meseros te dejan esperando mas de 2 horas para tu pedido y sin avisarte simplemente no te llevan tu comida por que se les termino. Pueden dejar a tu familia con hijos sin incluso papas fritas y los niños llorando por su comida y no son capaces de avisar que no te van a servir El personal pueden llegar a ser cínicos y nada empàticos. En el bar hay mucha discriminación. Dependiendo el cliente le dan buen alcohol o alcohol muy genérico. La animación es de regulara mala. No dejan participar a niños en todos los juegos. Parece que los que se tienen que divertir son los de la animación y no los clientes que pagan para ser entretenidos y tener una vacación agradable. Las habitaciones son limpias y por supuesto siempre te quieren vender membresías. El general las habitaciones son estándar el servicio es malo.

Hace unos días nos hospedamos en este hotel, comenzaré diciendo lo peor de este hotel y es el restaurante "italiano" cuando llegamos tardaron mucho en atendernos, las copas estaba sumamente sucias, cuándo por fin llegó la comida todo un desastre. El buffet desayuno siempre fue lo mismo. Lo que salva este hotel es que el personal es amable y atento, las palmas se las llevan el equipo de entrenamiento 👍. Las habitaciones limpiasy cómodas.

Al hotel le hace falta mantenimiento, las habitaciones y todo en general se ven ya descuidados, hay fallas en los aires acondicionados (tuvieron que cambiarnos de habitación porque del aire salía mucha agua) y de cualquier forma enla segunda caían gotas. Falta limpieza en las zonas comunes, sobre todo en los pasillos de las habitaciones, estuvieron vasos y pisos sucios durante toda mi estancia (los mismos durante días), en las habitaciones tampoco la limpieza es buena. Lo que si hacen bien es la atención por parte del personal, todos son muy amables y siempre siendo muy atentos.Mejorando en limpieza y mantenimiento, creo que podrían ser una buena opción.

La comida es muy mala y nos entregaron los cuartos más tarde de lo esperado. OJO: al hacer el check out no dejan seguir divirtiéndote en el hotel.fuera de esas cosas las instalaciones están muy bien, hay variedad de restaurantes y bebidas, las piscinas están muy bonitas y la vista es increíble desde ellas. Los cuartos están muy bien, sin olores desagradables, sabanas limpias y colchones cómodos. El personal es muy amable y atento. Si vas en plan de fiesta, este hotel no es el adecuado, si vas en plan familiar y descansar, este hotel es para ti.

Food is terrible. Beds are hard as cement. The smoke alarm lights kept flashing. Only one elevator works for a 9 floor building and it was tiny, Be prepared for long wait times at the elevator. The ice cream shop had very little ice cream. Mexican people would be serviced first at the swim bars even though I was there first. Nightly entertainment was a joke. Long lines for breakfast buffet. The attached Scuba shop was rude and down right mean. Stay away from the scuba shop. Only one meal allowed per day for room service. Extra fees at check in for environment tax. The liquor at the bars very limited. The reuse these cheap plastic cups that are rinsed out and reused. I had lip stick and grunge around the cups. This is nasty. lucky we brought our own cups and used these instead. The A/C in the rooms did not work very good. We only had hot water 2 nights. We last visited Park Royal 5 years ago, a lot has changed for the worst. Frankly Coz is not the same anymore. We will never be back.

Aún seguimos en el hotel, nos vamos hasta el lunes5 de septiembre por la mañana. Si necesito comentar que los alimentos dejan mucho que desear, la variedad y calidad, para ser un hotel Grand. Our first time at the Mexican Restaurant at Grand Royal was so great. The staff was incredibly attentive and so nice! The food came out at perfect timing and was delicious. I got the Gordita appetizer, the tortilla soup and the mix plate; everything was so great! Thank you so much Wilbert, Maribel, Manuel, And Javier.The hotel as a whole was so amazing, THANK you Miguel Cesar y Angel for the great service!

The staff here is absolutely amazing! Here are some of the people that went over top for us. Carlos who works at the buffet. The 2 bartenders Luis, and Kevin. Who remember what you want to drink the whole time you are here. Marina, who also works at the buffet. That brought us the “hangover” free drink, without us even asking. Thank you to all the people who made this stay so special!

We visited Grand Park Royal Cozumel for 7 nights. We were greeted by smiling faces and friendly staff. This place is amazing and has everything you can think of from a buffet to 3 restaurants, and more. My family and I loved it here. Each night there was some sort of entertainment which was so fun!! The food was good, the drinks were good, and it was nice to come back to a clean room, made bed and drinks in the mini fridge each day. The location was great and my kids enjoyed watching the cruise ships. The private beach area is nice as well. Don’t hesitate to go! There was a great range in ages of people while we visited. We can’t wait to book our next trip!

El personal es atento y agradable, pero en repetidas ocasiones no encontramos toallas para uso de la piscina y playa, se puede sentir falta de administración. La comida del buffet es muy normal y la cena muy mala; los demás restaurantes son una mejor opción pero debes hacer la reservación para poder acceder y eso en vacaciones no es muy agradable. La playa es bastante pequeña para el número de huéspedes del hotel, todas las piscinas se mantienen llenas y no hay lugar para caminar dentro del hotel si te gusta hacerlo después de comer o cenar.

The staff was not helpful. Cesar at the front was very pushy and cared more about selling packages than giving us information about the hotel, he kept stating that the sales impacted his commission. The room we were initially in 1109 did not have working air conditioning and had mold/mildew on the walls, ceiling, and drapes. We called the front desk several times and were told to WAIT IN THE ROOM until maintenance got there. We had to take pictures and go to the front desk and demand a new room. The staff wanted us to stay in the room until they came to clean but it was a health risk so we insisted on a move. I want to add that we noticed that room 1109 had to remain vacant after we insisted on a move due to the mold/mildew. The second room we were placed in 2128, the ceiling was leaking at the front of the door and the staff placed towels on the floor. We asked to have maintenance come to resolve the issue as this placed us at risk of falling; maintenance arrived 4 days after our request, the day BEFORE we checked out. The seafood and Mexican restaurant staff were very discourteous. We were ignored on multiple occasions by all staff, waiting longer than other non-black patrons that would come in long after us. We felt marginalized. We would wait for over 30 minutes for service and often had to approach a waiter to take our orders while other patrons were given service right after they were seated. At the Mexican restaurant, we did not receive half of the order placed and what was received was cold. The staff is also very inquisitive and condescending, often questioning our movements/activities within and out of the hotel. Making statements that came across as though we had no business talking to anyone outside of the hotel. This was our first time in Mexico and this hotel left a very bad taste and is a horrible representation of the people of this country. If we had not gone outside of the hotel and met other Mexicans we would not consider returning to the country. Do better. We will definitely not be returning to this hotel.

Before we went I read all the reviews but we found a great deal and decided to take a chance anyway… unfortunately all the criticism in other reviews is true. I am also pretty sure the staff/friends of the resort are padding their ratings with the short, excellent reviews as another poster pointed out - read past those and look for the real reviews mixed within. Before reading the rest of my review, please know I travel often and have stayed at many resorts. This definitely is my least favorite I have ever stayed at (including the Melia and Wyndham in Cozumel- both offered better experiences.) The food is absolutely terrible, they ran out of towels at the pool daily, we were given the wrong room and I truly feel like we spent half of our trip at the front desk. The staff is absolutely rude, not helpful or accommodating and you can tell they are miserable. The entertainment is mediocre for a resort and it is dirty and seriously outdated. The good- the massage therapists are wonderful and so sweet. Although the spa is a joke (it’s a small closet in the gym), the massages were wonderful. Also, the location is pretty good. I would not recommend a visit to this hotel until they have time to get their act together and make some changes. Saving the time wasted waiting in the front desk line, chasing down drinks, proper rooms, towels, edible food, etc…. is worth paying a little extra to stay at a place that will allow you enjoy your time. Also, Cozumel is amazing and has so many incredible things to do and food options- I highly suggest avoiding an all-inclusive all together!

I stayed here 8 nights in June 2022. I noticed many horror stories in reviews but our stay was fantastic! The staff here all work very hard and wear many hats to ensure the safety, entertainment, and comfort of their guests. For the first 2 nights of my stay our hot water was not working. After making a complaint to the staff they were able to get the issue resolved by the 3rd night of our stay. The location is fantastic but expect to taxi or rent transportation to get to the downtown center, ferry terminal, or airport. The buffet food is good and the breakfast is great! I was never disappointed with breakfast. You need reservations for the restaurants within the resort so be sure to make those the morning of. Every night there are events or activities as well as street vendors that come into the grounds so if you need to do some shopping for souvenirs you can find it right in the hotel grounds. This place is so much fun and a great experience vs your casual contemporary hotel. 10/10 recommend, but if things don't go perfectly at first remember that being rude will not benefit you. I saw many guests snap at staff members. My group was able to enjoy our stay and experience top notch service which I credit much of our politeness for that when we had an inconvenience of any kind such as no hot water or AC taking awhile to get cold.

The room was great, view was great minus seeing the cruise ships docked. The beach area was super small. We only went once at the resort due to how little space they have. The food was subpar at best, but granted we only ate at the buffet. We tried 4 times and it just wasn't good. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Had a small misunderstanding with the service counter, but I let it go. Great trip. I just would not stay her again.

Las actividades están entretenidas. Venimos por unas vacaciones tranquilas, pero con emociones y las actividades están muy padres y dinámicas que se prestan para que eso suceda. Son muy malos dandoservicios , llevo 2 días sin agua caliente en mi habitación. Aún no tengo el café ni azúcar en mi habitación tengo cafetera de adorno. La heladera estaba avacía al ingresar y tampoco funcionaba tuve que resolverla yo, de cambiar de toma corriente ya que nunca me lo Resolvieron. Si sr ya lo resolveremos es la permanente respuesta. La comida no es mala pero no poseen variedad para comer fideos con crema los como en mi casa. Es un hotel de 4 estrellas. No lo recomiendo por tener muy mal servicios de atención.

LOVED IT HERE! We are planning on visiting again. We did have to wait until 5:30pm (check in started at 3:30) to get our room. They did explain that it's due to short staffing. We understood and took advantage of the buffet, free drinks, ice cream shop and the pool while we waited. It was fun exploring. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Before this we were at a 5 star resort in Camcun, and I can honestly say I enjoyed my stay here more! 10/10 would recommend 👌🏾

Amazing experience! It's a great all inclusive hotel. Great entertainment, great restaurants, and wonderful spaces. We were there for 5 days and we were never tired of the place. We loved every minute. They have free room service once a day, and clothes washing and pressing for a pretty reasonable price. I will not mention that they have a great selection of alcohol varieties, because that's not here nor there, but they do 😉.

This is the second time my kids and I have stayed at this hotel. We were there from 3/6 - 3/11. Like always we enjoyed the buffet for breakfast and sometimes dinner. We mostly had our lunch at the snack bar. My kids also loved the ice cream shop. We had dinner reservations at the Mexican Restaurant. The food was good, but the service was a bit slow. The hotel offered some nightly entertainment. They had an aquatic show that had amazing stunts. They also had a fire show which was also amazing. The beach area is small, but loved the clear water for snorkeling. You are also able to rent snorkel gear for an hour with no fee. Only two minor issues that we experienced...the sink faucet (cold) and the shower leaked. Granted we did have four people shower back to back. We enjoyed the hotel, and had no other complaints. Will definitely return.

El restaurante italiano. Tiene un servicio excelencia. Vale la pena la espera, ya que la atención es personalizada. El ambiente mediterráneo se siente en todo momento. La comida deliciosa, los vinos de primera, con una presentación de primer nivel. Y las medidas de higiene presentes en todo momento: gel, cubrebocas, toma de temperatura y uso de guantes para tomar los alimentos. Os funcionários são bem educados e prestativos. Eu não tive serviço de quartopor um dia, mas foi só ligar na recepção que na mesma hora eles enviaram alguém para limpar. Los animadores Manuel, Sofia, Hector, Brith y Suny son lo máximo en el hotel, hacen que tú estancia sea muy amena y divertida, desde temprano hay actividades como juegos, concursos, volleyball de playa, etc. Y en la noche sus shows son muy padres tienen mucha variedad. Toda la comida muy rica... Recomiendo el restaurante la veranda y el italiano... Los snacks y las bebidas igual muy ricas. Lo único malo es que a las 12 hacen el check-out y te cortan brazalete y no puedes hacer uso de las instalaciones y cobran por 6 horas más pero no tienes alguna habitación de menos para bañarte ya que aunque pagues por más tiempo te quitan la habitación. Tiene una vista increíble a los cruceros. Tiene protocolos covid muy buenos y la limpieza en habitaciones excelente.

The service is excellent, the food was authentic and very tasty! We all shared our dishes and had a great time! The staff was attentive and even though we had a large party they were very accommodating. Everyone is super nice! The chef came to our table and explained the dishes, Miguel (waiter) treated us like family and we did come back as it was a great experience. I highly recommend!

For the positive- The grounds and the pools were very nice.Our room was clean. All of the staff that we encountered were very friendly. Hector from the Funtastic team was awesome. For the negative-The beds in the room were like sleeping on the ground (very firm).The food was average at best.It was very hard to get seated at one of the sit down restaurants. The liquor they served was bottom shelf at best. We had a nice time but wouldn’t stay there again.

Great experience. 3 unforgettable days of food, drink and fun. The staff is amazing. Everything was included in our plan. We had the chance to enjoy the animation team, with funny quiz games and beach volley tournaments.The food is great. We had excellent service from Jose and his team at the Mexican restaurant. It was my birthday and Alberto the chef made it so special with an incredible cake. They were so accommodating. The food was amazing!We really were happy with everything we ordered. The watermelon salad was the best ever!!!! Thank you for such a fun night! We will definitely be back!

La comida es muy buena, siempre hay opciones saludables y no tan saludables jeje. Los meseros son siempre muy amables y están pendientes de lo que necesitas. La mayoría de las veces comimos en La Veranda, se los recomiendo muchísimo. Al final Don Santiago nos atendió y así como los demás también fue muy amable.

Muy mal servicio, todos los empleados están de malas, la comida en los restaurantes tardan horas en servir y te atienden de prisa. En la entrega de habitaciones llegamos desde 2 horas antes y entregaron hasta las 5pm! En la salida nos corrieron del hotel, la habitación de mi papá nunca fue limpiada!! Y las que si lo hicieron mal ya que no cambiaban las toallas. Solo atienden bien a los extranjeros! No lo recomiendo para nada la playa es muy bonita pero el servicio muy malo.

Seleccionamos este boreal ya que nos habían platicado buenas cosas de el, al leer las reseñas y comentarios no vimos nada de que preocuparse pero que desilusión me lleve a la Instalación le doy un9, la comida que no es su fuerte 7 ni el bufete, ni en los restaurantes y que decir de la cena de navidad ☹️ El agua de las albercas no es climatizada por lo cual está helada y en esta época del año que corre un viento frío no está nada bien. La playa es súper pequeña no rebasa ni los 90 metros cuadrados.La atención unos bien y otros no tanto pero comentaban entre ellos que faltabamucho personal por lo cual no se daban abasto. Limpieza 6 los baños siempre estaban sucios, un día no hicieron mi habitación y nunca encontrabas gel en los dispensadores. Prometieron amenidades durante la cena de navidad y no hubo nada. Lo más decepcionante para mi fue que la salida la tiene a las 12 pero a la 1 ya no podías estar dentro del hotel! Por lo regular en mis otras estadías incluyendo de su misma cadena, entregas habitación y puedes seguir usando las albercas o playas(mis vuelos siempre son nocturnos) pero aquí que pésima fue esasituación, tuvimos que realizar un paseo para ocupar mis 7 horas restantes. No volvería ya que fueron muchos detalles que no me gustaron.Estuve en Cancún en octubre en Kristal y hay mucha diferencia.

The property was absolutely beautiful! The staff was very friendly, they did a nice job with service and keeping everything cleaned and sanitized. The Funtastic team was great with activities and entertainment. Food was average, drinks were good, seemed to be a shortage of towels and wash rags in our room. They did a great job filling the minute bar. Great location, nice pools, beach and snorkeling out front. Was excellent if you plan to fish or scuba, you can get picked up right on property.

The property is very nice and kept very clean, it looks well maintained. All staff encountered were very nice and helpful. The pools are nice but they could really use some heat this time of year and the water was consistently cloudy. Entertainment is lacking, it mostly consists of a few staff at the pool trying to get people to play games. They do have a theater but no shows during my 5 day stay. The food is OK, nothing special. Notably, the Mexican restaurant is very bad...long wait and horrible food and service. The bars are great, no issues at all getting whatever drink we wanted. Room was clean but the bed is hard and uncomfortable. The only problem with the room was the water pressure, during a shower the water would stop completely several times. They are in the process of replacing elevators so there can be a significant wait for an elevator. Overall, I'd probably stay here again with the expectation to have dinner in town. LGBT friendly.

Don't make the same mistake I did. Save your time and money. I truly think all the good reviews below are fake/or written by the staff itself. If you don't believe me, go stay here and be disappointed. From the moment we checked in we had to wait over an hour in line to be checked in even though it was way after 3 PM. They had two other check in attendants that were just on their phone because they only check in club members for some reason. During check in they kept trying to convince me to go to a 2 hour meeting where they would sell me a membership. First he offered to give me a discount on a massage, then he said the massage would be free, then he said he'll give me 3 reduced price nights at the resort. I read a review before about how they won't let you leave until you agree so I feel I made the right choice. The food at all the restaurants is inedible. It just wasn't good. We didn't finish any of the plates and would've preferred to eat out. The beach is only about 14 meters wide. They had chairs for about 20 people. That's in a resort with hundreds of rooms. If you go, you will not go to the beach unless you go and get a chair at sunrise. The service was unpleasant. I honestly don't have anything positive to say about the place, the rooms are okay but they are outdated and nobody came to clean my room or make the bed during my stay. The hotel was built several decades ago and it shows. The elevators are not working so the building has only one elevator for the whole building and it's the service elevator that was built for employees. Don't make the same mistake I made. Stay somewhere else.

This is a great property. I love that they have a little beach area, super calm water/beach if you have children they will have fun and you can ensure their safety. Great swim and snorkel area near the beach to enjoy nature. The Entertainment staff is great and does a wonderful job of keeping us entertained, Sofia was extremely helpful with the activities. Super family friendly resort with lots of options for all. Definitely would stay again!

Que lugar péssimo! Funcionários mal educados, Preço altíssimo, quartos cheios de mofo, para quem tem alergia ou problemas respiratórios é uma tortura!!! Colocam fotos lindas dos quartos, mas quando você entra, se decepciona! Reservamos un quarto para casal, colocaram duas camas de solteiro! Os elevadores não funcionam, tinha apenas um elevador e eles misturam com as cargas! Passamos um constrangimento HORRÍVEL, porque o local diz ser all inclusive, mas quando fomos ao restaurante não deixaram meu noivo entrar, porque precisaria estar de social! Social em uma ilha????? 😡😡😡😡😡😡 Esse lugarzinho imundo, só tinha propaganda enganosa! Sugiro que gastem o dinheiro de vocês em outro lugar!

Excelente hotel! Praia privativa muito bonita!! Funcionários extremamente atenciosos, em especial para a Diana, que fica no restaurante La Varanda. Muito educada e explicou toda a sistemática de horário e refeições de todos os restaurantes. E ainda deu dicas de comida para o nosso filho pequeno, de modo a evitar pimenta.

O atendimento docafé da manhã pelos funcionários Armando e Hani são muito bons ! Eles são educados e sempre atentos ao que os clientes precisam . Gostei ! Que chegue a gerência do hotel este comentário porque sou de outro país e fui muito surpresa pelo bom humor e educação deles . Agora um ponto muito ruim foi o elevador estar quebrado e ficou assim por muitos dias . Até mesmo um funcionário falou que isso já era frequente e que demoram muito para arruma lo . Um hotel grande assim não pode ficar com elevador quebrado . Pelo menos uma satisfação deve ser dada aos sócios que pagam o ano todo e quando vão usufruir do hotel não podem ter conforto . O gerente de manutenção deve agir rapidamente para que isso não aconteça mais . Pegar no pé da empresa que arruma para logo vir resolver isso .

We had such an amazing experience at this resort. The staff was so kind and helpful. Pepe with the entertainment staff was so much fun. Jorge in the buffet was the best! He was so courteous and took good care of my mom even after the buffet closed. He just kept bringing her coffee and went on his off time to get some Aleve when we ran out. The bartender at the family pool was very attentive and kept the drinks coming. Food was great as well.

We were at Grand Park last February into March. We had an awesome time. The hotel is a little dated but very spotless and I'd take clean any time. The food was awesome, we ate at the fancy restaurant twice and it was great. I'd highly recommend staying here to anyone. The beech side burgers are the best. To many nice things to list and we will go back again soon. Could not find anything anyone could complain about.
