Old and run down. I stayed overnight with my family and parents before leaving from BNA. My daughter was to sleep on the sofa bed. But the sofa bed was non functional. Had to break it open and rip off the mattress and put it on the floor over the couch cushions. I would only recommend this place if you were looking for something cheap and didn't care if the place was nice.

I had a vacation first in 2 years and I went to Nashville Tennessee and chose Marriott residence inn on elm hill Pike because it was close to the grand ol oprey. I had my card in hand and they would not let me in untill I went online and got a reservation. I got one. Tried to go in with my reservation(pre-paid) NOPE I sat in the parking lot of this hotel and reserved for the wrong one.... I ate it. Got my reservation squared away in an hour and was finally let in with a pre paid reservation(stupid me) and got my room.... Oh yeah $7 parking. Long story short. Next day when planning vacation activities I found my bank account drained. The reservation charged me two times $188 And the front desk charged me an additional $170...I pre paid......add the 180 from the incorrect booking had to cancel my vacation on morning #1 because I was monsterously over charged. I had enough money to drive back home to St Louis thank god. The reservation overcharge was paid and this is a week later and the front desk is denying they charged me and I have called many places and even my bank sees the charge. My entire vacation ruined on morning #1 because I wanted to stay at a nice hotel. All because of their awful check in policy. They could have checked me in and been done

Pretty good 'suite style' rooms. The kitchen was refreshing in the way that it had full size range, oven, microwave, double regular size sinks, it was all standard size. Having stayed at a handful of hotels and motels that were 'suite in price and descriptions' - only to turn out to be 'mini everything' this was cool. Having all other areas spacious, something had to sacrifice- and that was the bathroom/shower area. It felt a bit of odd, as the double vanity that connected the toilet/shower "closet"to the room was a nice open space, the toilet was barely placed in the small area that was about the size of an average half- bath in this areas average homes. It all worked out and never was an issue so.. The internet offered was slow but steady, and it was nice to have the option of upgrading your internet for a few dollars per day- in my case it was no additional charge since my room was booked and occupied by a platinum rewards member. It would have been nice to have been told about the perk available to us, but nonetheless as I was going to make note of my additional charge they promptly announced this benefit. They should see top-tier loyal rewards members upon checking in and just have the upgrade in place with the instructions for accessing the better internet. Both the tiers of internet mocked of seediness and I would never connect without VPN and I would advise others to do the same... Not just here, but any wifi provided at a hotel or coffee shop. The entrance and exit were gated, requiring a swipe of the room card to come or go, otherwise a call to the front desk was needed. This touch, in my opinion, went a long ways towards a better experience outside of the rooms. They have a really nice pool area , although due to the pandemic, we weren't able to take advantage of it. That have a lounge area next to the pool area that was always available to access and relax at.. Really good vibe with a surprising amount of comfy seating, arranged in a cool way in little "islands" for a lack of better description. 4 or 5 seats per "cluster" with most seats large enough to easily fit a healthy size couple of adults. Would I stay here again? I would. It is family friendly and has the feel to it that comes with an active management that obviously care about providing guests with a stay that is pleasant.
