This Hotel was wonderful. Mrs. Donna the Breakfast attendant was so kind and nice the breakfast was really good hot and fresh. The maintenance Gentleman was awesome me and my family give this hotel a 10 all the way around. We will be back and thank you so much for the hospitality it was greatly appreciated.

The Hotel manager charged us twice on our card. We asked him the day we checked in about it said no I did not do that and if I did it should not go through a second time it was just a hold. This was over a month now he will not return phone calls when we call they always have an excuse why he cannot get on the phone. He is a sorry excuse for a manager. He was not friendly. Only friendly staff we came across was the breakfast bar lady.

We just left our hotel, and we had an awful experience. Since it will be faster to make a list of everything that was bad, I will do that. 1. Unlike the pictures suggest, there is no hot tub 2. The floors looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in at least a week. The common areas were disgusting and sticky. 3. When we went to our room, and our sheets had some mystery stain, maybe blood? 4. They gave us clean sheets, but we had to put them on ourselves 5. And the best part other than the inherent filth, was that there were maggots all over the first floor. When the staff was informed, they responded with “we deal with these every year” 6. After all of this, they did not offer us any compensation.We needed to ask for a discount.

Had a whirlpool but it didn't work. That was disappointing. The towels were few and the complimentary toiletries were awful in comparison to any other hotel I've ever had. The cleanliness was great and the rooms were nice! Beds were comfortable too! Breakfast was delicious.

So we ended up at this hotel because our flight was canceled and it was provided by spirit. The place is gross. I think the last time the place was cleaned was in 2005. We arrived at 1:30pm and the food from breakfast was still out and it was just not clean or sanitary. Our room had a horrible stench to it was half cleaned with trash on the floor. Also we inspected the sheets and we suspected that they might have bed bugs or some sort of bug issue. We also had a cockroach climb up the wall and we provided to kill it with a shoe.Would never recommend and definitely wash anything of yours that was in this hotel.

This place is filthy! We always stay at Comfort Inn and Suites, they are usually top-notch, however this place is far below our expectations! I don’t know when it was last vacuumed! There was literally food crumbs all over our floor! I wish I would have read the reviews before we booked here! We were at another hotel that was $70 cheaper, and decided we wanted a Country Inn and Suites. Unfortunately this was a big mistake! Front desk people were not friendly at all!!

Our room was clean, with new carpets. The furniture could be updated, and whoever installed the new carpets could definitely do better BUT with all of that said… I’d definitely come back to this hotel should we ever end up in the area again. All we needed was a place to sleep, we didn’t need a fancy hotel with all the fancy amenities.The breakfast consisted of self-serve waffles, cereal, muffins, bagels, english muffins, juice, eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, granola bars, yogurt and milk. I thought the self-serve waffles were super cool!The indoor pool wasn’t anything fancy, just a basic pool. We didn’t get a chance to swim in it, but we did check it out. They had a bunch of towels ready for guests, and the entire area was very clean.Overall it was a decent hotel with simple amenities. I’d recommend this place if you’re only needing a place to sleep for a couple nights after adventuring during the day.

Really clean and convenient to Murrells Inlet and Huntington Beach state park. Very thankful pets were allowed for a 1 time $50 fee. We got the 2 double beds room which included a fridge, microwave and kitchen sink. Also we had a sofa and coffee table. Very nice bathroom as well. The hot breakfast was more than your typical hotel breakfast. definitely recommended!!

I refuse to go back and forth on whether bedbugs were found or not in room 202 and 402. The manager saw all the bites both incidents. Also corporate was informed! This makes no sense at all point blank period!!! We will not be back! Left in the middle of the night after my son was bitten. No excuse at all.

We went to the first room we were assigned and there was a major water leak on the floor right in front of the door. Walking in the room initially we were excited because there was a Jacuzzi and ample space in the room until we saw a roach. We were scared to sit down. I went to use the phone to call down to explain the situation but the phone was inoperable and there was crud all over the phone. The room is extremely outdated. We went down to explain, the receptionist was apologetic and immediately moved us into a new room. Still outdated but we didn't see any bugs but the initial incident left us on edge and so it was difficult to sleep. Because we arrived so late we stayed at the location versus going to another hotel. To think we paid a little over $140 for this place.

Highly recommend. We were upgraded to the penthouse suite which was the nicest room we have ever stayed in in any hotel. Country Inn & Suites delivers a consistently excellent experience, and we stay with them whenever possible. Seamless check in/out process. Great location to the Marsh walk and a very short drive to the beaches of Garden City and Huntington Beach State Park.
