“Great staff and location but hotel's age is definitely showing in the rooms. Renovations are underway which will hopefully bring some much needed updates. Complimentary breakfast is quite good.”

“Had our reservation cancelled by someone who worked there. Couldn't tell us why it was cancelled. After driving all day from St John's the last thing we needed was a cancellation and no rooms available anywhere.
The front end person did manage to get us an apartment to rent for the night which we were greatful for but after 2 hrs. By the time we got to bed we only had a few hrs before we had to get up and be on the road to catch the ferry to North Sydney. This apparently was something she was doing out of the goodness of her heart. Really it was her job.
The front end staff had the nerve to say I feel your pain. No you don't.”
