I got bit by bedbugs, my baby was also with me. He did not get bit as it was only on my side of the bed thank god.When i walked in for the first time the room smelled and it was dusty.Toilet didnt work great either I had to keep using a plunger.The only pleasant thing was the reception staff other than that never again.My suggestion better cleaning practices and inspect mattress when people are checking out !!! Ele não foi mordido porque estava apenas do meu lado da cama, graças a Deus.Quando entrei pela primeira vez, o quarto cheirava mal e estava empoeirado.O banheiro também não funcionou muito bem, tive que continuar usando um desentupidor.A única coisa agradável foi a equipe da recepção fora isso nunca mais.Minha sugestão é melhorar as práticas de limpeza e inspecionar o colchão quando as pessoas fizerem o check-out!

Horrible. I somehow ended up with a smoking room. Smelled horrible. Told staff I should have gotten a non smokingand she said she was booked up and could not move me! My eyes are burning while I’m here in this room. Would never recommend this place. Horrível. De alguma forma acabei com um quarto para fumantes. Cheirava horrível. Disse à equipe que eu deveria ter conseguido um não fumante e ela disse que estava reservada e não podia me mudar! Meus olhos estão queimando enquanto estou aqui nesta sala. Ótimo custo-benefício! Centralmente localizado em Memorial City. O café está incluído durante todo o dia e também está disponível um ginásio. Tudo é limpo e a pequena cozinha tem tudo o que você precisa. A geladeira é barulhenta, sempre coloco em 0-1 antes de ir para a cama e depois funcionou.

We stayed here for 13 weeks. Had minor issues with the AC during the 1st week but they were prompt addressing it. Our overall stay was great. Our room was cleaned weekly with fresh supply of towels, linens and some cleaning supplies. Everyone was great. We felt safe all the time. Will definitely refer to my friends.. Ficamos aqui por 13 semanas. Teve pequenos problemas com o AC durante a 1ª semana, mas eles foram rápidos em resolver o problema. Nossa estadia geral foi ótima. O nosso quarto era limpo semanalmente com fornecimento fresco de toalhas, lençóis e alguns materiais de limpeza. Todo mundo foi ótimo. Nos sentimos seguros o tempo todo. Com certeza indicarei para meus amigos..

Maintenance and housekeeping are exceptional and do their work with 110% effort with zero complaints. The people who work here made the stay excellent. Simply Sonesta has set the bar high for high quality service and staff. 10/10 recommend this place for extended stay or even a few days! PLEASE READ IF CONSIDERING A STAY: (specific examples below)This hotel is not a “surprise find” in a decent area of town. In spite of the surrounding area being full of decent establishments (Taste of Texas is one of Houston’s finest), this hotel is an absolute dump. Between the “hourly” rentals, the total lack of upkeep, and the non-existent accounting to know what room is occupied or not, there is nothing redeeming here except a low price. Even then, I can assure you you’ll receive less than the value you pay.We had 5 rooms for 2 nights during a work trip. When we checked in, there was a conversation happening with police and what appeared to be a newly former tenant, judging by the piles of possessions surrounding him. Check in was as expected. However, after receiving our keys and getting to our rooms, TWO of them were already occupied by “guests”. Fortunately, nothing beyond embarrassment and surprise were discovered on the other side of the door. After the initial shock of walking in on other people in what you assume will be a clean room, we went back downstairs to address the issue. The employee at the front desk apologized, but made the comment “that shouldn’t be the case”, inferring the rooms should not be occupied. MAJOR RED FLAG! At this point, two new keys were given. Upon opening the door to one of the room, the carpet in the room was wet. Not just a little damp like a recent water spill, but wet like a leak had gone undiscovered for awhile.At this point, we had already had enough to know this place, and the impossible to be true Google rating and hotels.com reviews, was beyond unacceptable.We walked down to the front desk, explained the water issue and simply asked if we could cancel our rooms entirely. The front desk agent certainly agreed/apologized and said he’d refund our payment for the rooms and cancel them immediately. We left and found a different hotel, thinking we’ve got 60 minutes of wasted time and a bizarre story to tell… Not the case.The hotel has still NOT refunded our payment and continued to refuse to do so, citing “cancellation rules”. Not only did they lie when they said they’d refund our payment upon cancellation, they will continue to take your money, send you through the ringer of a terrible experience, and have no issues claiming “it’s the rules”.STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK! Saímos e encontramos um hotel diferente, pensando que temos 60 minutos de tempo perdido e uma história bizarra para contar… Não é o caso.O hotel ainda NÃO reembolsou nosso pagamento e continuou a se recusar a fazê-lo, citando “regras de cancelamento”. Checked in on Friday night, checked out Monday morning. First thing, elevator down the entire time.Next not sure all pillow cases clean. Next we went to go in Sunday night, our keys did not work.Attendant said they had checked us out.Well pretty obvious, since all of our stuff still in room, no one verified that we had checked out.And lastly, roach in room.So disappointed, we had stayed here before, and it was great.
