Wonderful hotel starting from the valet crew. Great group of guys. Friendly and fast. Check in desk both night and day shift all lovely and kind people. Hotel is nice and clean and the restaurant to the side is wonderful as well. We appreciated the service from Cary. Tucked behind are some other food options and a quaint little bar. Perfect location to go for a walk or cross the street and your on the beach. This will be our go to hotel going forward.

Hotel is pretty nice, location is great, close to the beach and some restaurants nearby. The pool however is next to a generator that makes a noise like a jet plane. In addition they put some loud music trying to cover the generator noise. You can imagine the result. I can't understand how can people stay and relax at the pool (I've seen few people every day). One day we haven't hot water for all the morning until evening.

O hotel é novo e bem organizado, porém, não é o melhor estadia com crianças, pois eles não possuem microondas nos quartos. O atendimento é muito bom, a cama é boa, o espaço no quarto é bom, todo é muito limpo.

Já tínhamos vindo a Fort Lauderdale mas ainda não conhecíamos este hotel. Ficamos em um quarto com vista para o mar. Vista maravilhosa, diga-se de passagem. Tem uma piscina razoável e é lá que se pegam as toalhas para quem preferir a praia em frente. O estacionamento é pago mas o WiFi é grátis.

Mejor imposible. La ubicacion frente a la playa. Para salir a caminar o trotar o solo ver el mar es fenomenal y genial. La habitacion grande, la vista del cuarto muy linda, la atencion en la recepcion es de primera. Sin duda alguna repetiria volver a Sonesta hotel.

Excellent customer service, friendly and personable-Ron was very professional and friendly with us, going the extra mile in relocating and upgrading us to another floor with a specular view. He went out of his way to deliver the key to us. Front desk staff were personable as well. Will come back again!

Suzette made our stay amazing! She was super sweet and very professional and knowledgeable. My husband and I were there celebrating Veterans Day, his 75th birthday and our Anniversary. We came through the door laughing and we left laughing. Suzette, John and Justin made us feel so very welcome. The room was beautiful with a great view of the ocean. They have a very nice pool and the food at the restaurant is great! They all gave us great suggestions on places to go around Fort Lauderdale. We loved our stay at Sonesta. We will definitely be back.

We loved this resort’s location and the convenience of walking down A1A for restaurants, shopping, and luxurious spas.The hotel is definitely not 41/2 stars.. the accurate rating would be 3 stars. Rooms were comfy but there is no balcony to enjoy the ocean view. Hotel is in desperate need of a full renovation.They add all sorts of extra fees to the final bill.

I loved the stay and cleanliness of hotel! But the “MANAGER”( Ron Henry) was who I dealt with during my check in and check out process & he is BLUNTLY RUDE! He acted like he didn’t want to let me at the hotel. The Valet personnel were not at the front, so I needed to get in order to get the key, & he literally watched me knock on the door and acted like he was busy. Keep in mind that it is 2 AM in the morning, and he also has security that we’re available to opened the door if he was really THAT busy. As you walk in his demeanor is distasteful! His energy makes you feel like you are a bother, as he completely lacked professionalism. Just like any paying customer, I want to walk into the establishment and feel welcomed/comfortable, especially given the fact that this hotel is not cheap! As a manager in the customer service/hospitality industry Ron Henry would NEVER have a chance to work and service customers under my watch! HE IS BAD FOR BUSINESS! Mr. Henry doesn’t have any manners when it comes to how you should speak to customers. Ron Henry has earned the award for the most unprofessional and the most in compassionate hospitality manager I have ever dealt with (as I frequently stay in hotels)! Once again I loved everything about the hotel but as long as “ Ron Henry” is a manager here I’ll NEVER return! He has definitely tarnished my stay here.

We only stayed one night due to storms at home that added a day to our vacation (no complaints).... What a great experience we had at Sonesta Ft Lauderdale. Chris is amazing. Such wonderful service from him and the young lady at the desk (I'm sorry - I forgot her name). We hope to see her one day in Jamaica!! We had an awesome stay and we will be back next time we are in the area.

Hotel deixou muito a desejar Fomos eu meu marido é minha filha nos dois primeiros dias éramos para ter entrado no hotel às 15:00 mas o quarto do foi liberado as 17:00. Depois como íamos fazer um cruzeiro de sete dias voltamos para o mesmo hotel para ficarmos mais 3 diase colocaram a gente em um quarto que tinha duas camas de viúvo. Quando a minha reserva falava claramente que as camas eram de casal Desci até a recepção para reclamar do acontecido. E o gerente se quer apareceu para resolver o problema. Achei um verdadeiro descaso . Mesmo porque alguns amigos já tinham se ospedado lá e me disseram que o hotel era ótimo . Bom fica aqui registrado a minha indignação e o descaso com um cliente que não volta mais lá e que não recomenda a ninguém

Excelente hotel,com ótimo quarto e ótimo serviço. No entanto, não se engane pelo valor da diária, pois as numerosas taxas tornam tudo muito mais caro e dispendioso do que parece: cerca de 40 dólares por 1 diária de estacionamento e mais 35 dólares por uma taxa de resort que não inclui sequer um guarda sol na praia (que custa mais 25 dólares). Enfim, se não fossem essas taxas repetidas recomendaria com mais tranquilidade. Vão, mas esperem um gasto elevado e taxas diversas sem fundamento.

This was literally one of the BEST hotels that I’ve ever stayed at during a vacation trip! This was my first time visiting the Fort Lauderdale area, and a family member had recommend this hotel to me.I wanted to stay somewhere nice for my mother’s birthday weekend and I’m so glad that I’ve chosen The Sonesta! The service here is AMAZING!ALL of the Sonesta staff members provided EXCEPTIONAL service!They’re all very welcoming and friendly! They treat all of their guests like A list celebrities! A very special shout-out to John. He works at the hotel inside the restaurant on site called The Steelpan! &I wish that I would’ve gotten the first young lady’s name. She works at the restaurant on-site as well. She really topped the trip with the manager bringing out a surprise super delicious lava cake and vanilla ice cream for my mom.The hotel room was very clean and followed all of the covid guidelines. The cleaning staff was working around the clock to make that sure all of the trash was removed on time.The views are beautiful from the rooms and the Penthouse view is BREATHTAKING!The food from the on-site restaurant called Steelpan is truly delicious and worth every bite! Prices are pretty reasonable but it can get a bit crowded and busy by the weekend. Either way the service is so good, there is no long extended wait times.The amenities are very useful including their pool area. FYI, the blue beach chairs are included in the daily resort fee but not the actual umbrella part! The umbrella part costs $25 until 5pm!I’ll be back soon Sonesta! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Fees on fees on fees. Daily resort fee is $39 and valet parking (only parking provided) is $45 + tax per night. Almost $100 additional to your room rate. Rooms were average, toilets took forever to flush and water temps varied. The room key swipe on elevator didnt work so that was a false sense of security.

First let me say the Sonesta brand has been one of my favorite brands because it set itself apart but when you stop being not brand it time to cut ties, I booked the hotel for 5 days 2 rooms 1 for my daughter and I for my wife and I, poor service by staff i will not tolerate, especially when i spend my hard earn money, i received extremely poor service by the bar staff 2 Latinos staff who were condescending and disrespectful after refusing to served (saying i must be mistaken because they were lazy to prepare what i order) what i needed when we order it 2 nights before as dinner with different staff, i escalate the issue with the manager who did nothing and i am still awaiting a redress to issue to this day, we decided to left the hotel a day earlier than plan, for me good service is the most important asset any brand could ever have, Sonesta you lost me I will spend where i am appreciated.

I had a great stay in my room at Sonesta. The view was amazing, and when I arrived my room was very clean. I even loved the dispensers in the shower for body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Also, I love the effort they put into making sure the sea turtles on the beach are not disrupted by asking guests to close their curtains at a certain time. I truly appreciated that. I did take issue with a couple things, the bathroom door looked like there was water damage on the bottom, not sure if that is from the shower or if it may be damage because it's a beachfront stay? And the service could have been a little better. When I checked in, I wasn't told about the $50 daily incidentals fee, I just so happened to see what was charged to me in my account and it was an extra $250. When I asked the front desk, they kept trying to Co Vince me it was the resort fee, even though I explained it was already included in my total price. Then, we also were not told that we had to call for cleaning services daily, and didn't receive any new linen until the 3rd day of our trip. We also were not able to book a spa day, we weren't called back the day we requested. The than that, it was a great stay. The restaurant Steelpan was good and I recommend the fish tacos!

Very nice visit. Clean room, very comfortable bed, and friendly staff. Also right on the beach with affordable prices. The attached restaurant is fabulous. My only reason for deducting a star is because 2 of the 3 elevators were out of order at the time of our visit.

Espectacular ubicación, con una excelente vista en primera línea del mar. El hotel cuenta con buenos servicios y préstamo de toallas para cruzar a la playa. No es fácil conseguir estacionamiento gratuito en la zona; el hotel cuenta con servicio de valet parking con costo adicional. La recepción de envío de paquetes tiene costo adicional.

La ubicacion es muy buena, el confot del hotel es adecuado. El servicio de playa es incumpleto ya que ofrecen dos reposeras pero la sombrilla hay que pagarla a aprte (U$S 20 por dia). El estacionamiento en el Hotel es MUY CARO (U$S 32+tax por dia). El equipamiento de la habitacion es restringido (solo hay una cafetera y una heladerita). La relacion costo calidad no esta mal.
