Just came back home after a 4 nights stay with my partner in Madeira. I enjoyed every second spent in Pestana CR7, all the staff is really kind, trying their best to make your holidays memorable. The rooms are big and clean, the breakfast is delicious with a big variety of choices. The food from their restaurant is tasty as well and not pricey. Location is great if you plan you visit Funchal, everything is walking distance from the hotel. I will definitely go back when I will visit Madeira again.

I can’t explain how amazing our stay at this hotel was, so far it has been the best service my wife and I have had at a hotel ever. The staff, especially Estefany and the others working at reception were very helpful and friendly. If it wasn’t for the staff, we wouldn’t have been able to figure out our PCR testing on time, they helped us tremendously with transportation, and really any concerns we had. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. The gentleman at the front who I think was the manager, greeted us with a choice of drinks and made us feel welcome the moment we stepped inside. The rooms themselves were large, with natural lighting, modern design, and all the usual amenities. The terrace also has great views with working out equipment. The location of the hotel is convenient and close to major attractions, restaurants, and transportation. Breakfast was also plentiful and fresh, there’s was a large selection of meats, pastries, fruits, fresh juice, and other food made to order by the kitchen. I will be looking for a Pestana hotel first from now on when travelling. Thank you so much for making our stay in Funchal so wonderful.

Having a local beer before heading back to the mother ship. Kids abroad seem so well behaved (compared to my grandchildren who are lovely but lively).

We didn’t stay in the hotel, we just had lunch here a couple of times. Very healthy, high quality and not expensive food. Try one of the bowls or goat cheese toast!

Hotel smelled wonderful everyday in the entrance (like delicious men's cologne), looked clean, service was fantastic. Special shout out to Javier on reception, he was such a happy face and couldn't do enough. He had suggestions, questions that felt like a friend not forced and called to organise an activity for us. We are two friends from England, stayed for 5 days and it was what you want in a hotel. Location was ideal to walk everywhere and has so much in close proximity. Comfy sleeping, roof top with wonderful views and lounging facilities. Would love to stay again when visiting Madrid. Cannot comment on food as we always ate out.

Muito nome.... apenas isso.. quartos pequenos, cheios de pó... e peca tambem por não ter jantares e almoços em condições.. apenas tem snacks..

Condições espectaculares para uns dias de descanso; pequeno almoço fantástico e diversificado, almoço e jantar com excelente qualidade, quartos bem equipados e espaçosos, staff muito profissional e atencioso, sem dúvida recomendo e já estou com saudades obrigado a toda a equipe do Pestana bay pôr me proporcionar uma semana deslumbrante

O hotel é excelente a localização uma das melhores na ilha da Madeira!! Existe uma presença constante do “ nosso” Ronaldo mas de uma forma elegante e que só favorece o hotel! Mas o melhor de tudo é sem dúvida o serviço, super atenciosos , profissionais e tornaram a minha estadia uma experiência fantástica… muito obrigado

Falta de um jacuzzi bem maior que o existente pois o que tem é muito pequeno e a sala e sistema de pequeno-almoço não é nada cómodo para os hóspedes...que se confundem com os clientes pois a sala serve de bar todos os dias à noite e serve os pequenos almoços de manhã! A piscina é muito agradável!!

Hotel muito agradável com um staff muito simpático! Obrigada especialmente a D. Susana, D. Fátima e RP Hugo por tornar a nossa estadia e aniversário de casamento ainda mais especial 🍾🥂. O hotel está muito bem localizado e tem vistas sobre o Funchal deslumbrantes.

Estive alojada neste hotel durante a greve da Groundforce, sendo que a mesma teve impacto direto nas nossas férias, dado que chegámos ao Funchal sem as nossas malas e no dia seguinte seguiríamos para Porto Santo. Passados 4 dias da chegada, fomos contactados pela TAP para fazer a entrega das malas, que nos disse que não nos entregaria as malas no Porto Santo, apenas no Funchal.Entrámos por isso em contacto com o vosso hotel, sendo que a vossa receção se ofereceu prontamente não só a receber as malas, como a enviá-las para o Porto Santo através de barco, onde as fomos buscar. Ao 5º dia de férias, e graças aos vossos serviços, tínhamos a nossa mala e pudemos desfrutar do resto das nossas férias.Assim, elogio os vossos serviços e destaco os vossos trabalhadores da Receção/Front Office: - a Sra. Emma, cuja receção no vosso hotel foi marcado pela simpatia e disponibilidade. Pela sua capacidade de encontrar soluções para os vossos clientes, que vão muito além de uma receção calorosa; pela sua capacidade de comunicação quer connosco (presencialmente e contacto telefónico), quer na passagem de informação aos colegas; e por nos ter relembrado que íamos de facto para relaxarmos e que não nos preocupássemos porque ajudaria no que pudesse. - o Sr Miguel, pela sua disponibilidade em encaminhar ele mesmo as malas para Porto Santo. Má limpeza dos quartos e casas de banho. A recepção do hotel fica entre o café/bar e o restaurante e, por este motivo, verifica-se um intenso cheiro a fritos (desagradável) e calor abrasador. Quartos pouco razoáveis tendo em conta o preço pago por noite (com pouca iluminação, relativamente pequenos e com algumasfalhas a nível de limpeza, como já mencionei). Não corresponde a um hotel de 4 estrelas.

Great boutique hotel, a little out of old town Funchal but only a short walk away. The private pool and bar look out across the harbour. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good. Would highly recommend.

Amazing! We had the best time and this is clearly an LGBTQ+ inclusive hotel. I want with my partner and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I rarely have experienced such lovely staff - everyone we encountered was just so nice. Rooms are nice and the pool is amazing. Breakfast buffet was very generous and delicious. The room menu was a bit limited but this is such a minor point. We would always come back again and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Muy caro todo y el museo te cobran entrada

Un hotel con pocas habitaciones. Su personal es joven y muy amable. Este año estuvimos en una habitación con la cama redonda; nos hizo mucha gracia. Para el desayuno no hay mucha variedad pero está muy bueno todo. El lugar donde está situado está muy bien; hay un amplio paseo por el que se llega al centro de Funchal en poco tiempo.

Perfect location , beautiful hotel with wonderful views , the staff are happy and friendly , it’s a real pleasure to stay there and feel so welcome . We will definitely be back as we came home...
